Here's a steam emulator that came with a copy of CF2.5 I downloaded once, found that it works well on other stuff for making non-steam versions. Had to create an account on some russian forum or something to get this (fuck I hate sites where I need to register to download). Anyway enjoy!

Does anyone have any experience with using Smart Steam Emulator to play multiplayer games
I am trying to play Onward, the multiplayer vive game and in the instructions it tells me this:
Before you start the game, you need to change 2 values on the ini file.
- go here: http://vacbanned.com/listing/banned
- Copy the steam Community ID of anyone there (just get a SteamID on someone who is vac banned at least so you don't fuck someone's legit account in case these method is detected by the devs)
- Paste it on the ManualSteamID Field
- Then you change the 'PersonaName' to anything.
You need to put a Manual Steam ID because if you just keep it random and you go inside the game, 2 things can happen:
- Your name changes to 'Tester #X' Where X is a random number (might mean that randomed steamID doesn't exist. When it happens in my case, you get stuck on the lobby, when the round starts)
- You can play fine (probably mean the tandomed SteamID was valid/exist)
MAY NEED SSE!

I proceed to change the values it tells me to and then when I get to the menu it says that I am online but when I browse through the server list there doesn't appear to be anything there. Is there something I'm missing? or have the devs caught onto people playing the game without buying.
